If you are already an Aussie Specialist, you’ll know that the training is constantly being updated so now is a great opportunity to have a refresher on some of the many reasons why Australia is such an unforgettable holiday destination.
I mean, it’s not like you can find our laid-back culture, friendly locals, famous icons and diverse landscapes anywhere else in the world.
Watch
Australia is home to some of the world's most distinctive and diverse natural environments — from 20 unique World Heritage sites to its wonderfully wild wilderness, vast desert outback and endless coastline.
River sledding in Tasmania.
I might be biased, but crikey, Australia’s animals are one-of-a-kind, and getting up close and personal with my wildlife mates is something your clients will never forget. Imagine their reaction to spotting tree-hugging koalas as they drive along the Great Ocean Road, walking beside kangaroos on our famous beaches, or taking photos of the happiest animal in the world — the quokka.
Or how about the privilege of seeing Australia through the eyes of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander guide? Surely there’s no better way to experience a destination than by spending time on Country with a member of the world’s oldest living culture.

Then there’s our food! Just wow. Australia combines world-class venues with its world-class cuisine to create unforgettable experiences. Think I’m exaggerating? Well, how about dining under the stars after the sun sets on Uluru, or feasting on multiple courses within the shadow of the Sydney Opera House, or tucking into a gourmet picnic with world-class wines in the Barossa Valley? Oh, I’m getting hungry…
And whilst I have to confess my heart belongs to the stunning landscapes of Australia’s bush and coast, our cities are filled with intriguing places to explore, like boutique shopping strips filled with creations by local designers, funky bars hidden down laneways, phenomenal museums and edgy street art splashed on city walls.
